MADISON, WI--The Overpass Light Brigade (OLB) took to the steps of the state capitol building Friday night to protest the GOP's new mandatory ultrasound and "counseling" bill for women seeking legal abortions.
OLB got its start here in early 2011 when the GOP and Gov. Scott Walker launched an all out assault against public workers and union rights, spurring the largest and longest labor protest in US history. Since then, OLB has become an enduring feature on the Wisconsin landscape, typically on highway overpasses in the evening and at other locations throughout the state.
