Five days from now, we should know the results of the recall elections of six GOP Wisconsin state senators. By all accounts, three of the races are looking very good for Dems, with a couple of the others "close."
The recalls are just one manifestation of the fightback here against the anti-union, anti-worker, anti-everybody-but-the-rich agenda of Gov. Scott Walker and his GOP-dominated legislature. High on election crack, they hadn't a clue they would create a bleepstorm of blowback and put their party in jeopardy.
Oops! Spotlight on Wisconsin. And not in that nice shiny happy fun, "hey, kids, let's put on a show" way.
The fact is, Walker et al brought this on themselves--just like Ronald Blair, a Walker administration official, who attacked a protester last week and ended up bleeding profusely after accidentally stabbing himself!
Karma's a bitch.
